[2026-04-02 11:19] We’ve carried out diagnostic testing on your Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and found that the device is not detecting any network signal from the SIM card. As part of the repair process, we replaced the charging port assembly, which also houses the SIM reader, to rule out a common hardware failure in that area. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. This indicates the fault is likely at board level. On this model, SIM communication is handled via the baseband circuitry on the motherboard, including the SIM interface lines, RF transceiver, and associated power management components. A failure in any of these areas—such as a damaged baseband IC, broken PCB traces, or a fault in the RF front-end—can prevent the device from registering on a network, even when the SIM reader itself is functioning correctly. Given these findings, the issue is consistent with a motherboard fault. Board-level repair may be possible in some cases but can be complex and not always cost-effective compared to replacement. Please let us know how you’d like to proceed.
